Here's a whole bunch of CSS templates that you can use for your own website projects. The CSS templates listed here have been built using a combination of CSS and the HTML div tag for the layout. More about this below.
To use a CSS template:
- Download the website template of your choice
- Unzip the files into your chosen directory

CSS Templates vs HTML Templates
You may be wondering what the difference is between CSS website templates and a simple HTML template.
The main difference between CSS templates and traditional HTML templates is in the way the layout is constructed. CSS templates typically use a combination of CSS and the HTML div tag. Traditonal HTML templates often used HTMl tables to acheive their layout, which was not recommended by the W3C as HTML tables are reserved for displaying tabular data - not a whole website's layout.
This being said, these days, the terms "HTML templates" and "CSS templates" are often used interchangeably. Now that browser support for CSS has improved considerably, most new HTML templates are being built as a "CSS template".
